Earth Month Events 2025

Celebrate Earth Month with us by joining the following events. Earth Month is a time to celebrate our planet and take action to protect it.

Join team Weill Cornell Medicine in the One Healthcare EcoChallenge 2025, a free, virtual, and friendly month-long competition between healthcare organizations that aims to promote healthy, sustainable habits and community health.

The top two scorers from Weill Cornell Medicine will receive a $50 gift card from Earth Hero.

Come explore the waste management systems in the Belfer Research Building. You'll learn what happens to the different types of waste in our campus, and when they leave the campus, and related challenges.

Join us on Tuesday, April 22 in the Olin Hall Gym (445 E 69th St, Basement) in this clothes, books, and small items exchange event which aims to reduce waste. Drop off clothes you no longer wear and any books or small items you would like to share. Browse for free what has been donated by WCM students and staff. You are not required to contribute in order to participate.

Join us and Avantor on April 23 from 2 to 4:30 pm in a Sustainable Products Expo.

Join us in this short walk around the neighborhood and learn how to keep NYC street trees healthy and strong for generations to come. You will learn simple ways to take care of street trees and how to become a tree steward.
