Green Transportation

Transportation makes up a significant portion of greenhouse gas emissions and heavily contributes to climate change. You can reduce yours and Weill Cornell Medicine's carbon footprint with your transportation choices.

  • Walk or bike whenever possible, and choose public transportation over driving.
  • Minimize air travel, and consider virtual conferences and calls as alternatives. Offer hybrid or virtual options when organizing meetings or talks.

Biking is an environmentally friendly mode of transportation that can help reduce one’s carbon footprint.
