Switch Off Signs

Post these signs on the equipment in your lab! It will be easier for everyone to understand which equipment can be turned off after every use (green), only at the end of the day (yellow), or whether it should not be turned off at all (red). The yellow signs can also be used for light switches to remind people to turn off all lights at the end of the day.

You can print these signs on a sheet of 10 shipping labels (2" x 4" label size). Otherwise contact the Office of Energy & Sustainability for a copy.

Check out this list to see what can be switched off or what should always be left on.
