Angela Mu, Associate Director of Energy and Sustainability
Angela joined Weill Cornell Medicine in 2016 as the Energy Manager for the WCM campus. She manages regulatory compliance with energy regulations, develops energy efficiency standards for construction projects, and has implemented projects such as LED upgrades, airflow optimization, and an energy information system to analyze real-time campus utility consumption. Her proudest accomplishment is the administration of a two-year workforce development grant that funded internal green buildings trainings and the creation of a training center to help onboard new employees and upskill existing staff.
Prior to Weill Cornell Medicine, Angela worked at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority as a project manager for energy efficiency programs in the commercial and industrial sectors. Angela received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
