Greener Labs

While coming in contact with toxic and hazardous waste, Weill Cornell Medicine researchers are making an effort to go green for the safety of lab staff and for the environment. 

The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) manages the use of chemicals in the lab and the disposal of hazardous waste, but there are many steps researchers can take to make their lab greener. Replace commonly used items with their eco-friendly alternative or follow our tips to conserve lab energy

Many of these tips involve acts as small as flipping a switch that count make a large impact on our environment.
